The DJI Mavic Pro is a small portable but a yet powerful drone, ready to go with you everywhere you go and view the world through the eyes of your drone … like you have never seen before.
When people think of drones, they imagine big and scary helicopters but in 2016 there were several small drones introduced.
And now DJI is introducing its smallest and most convenient drone yet, the Mavic Pro.
The Mavic Pro packs features that we once thought were possible only for larger platforms into a small and portable drone with the ability to capture high-resolution images. It also comes with an advanced flight control system, GPS, ultrasound, IMUs and much more. It can even recognize gestures for perfect selfies.
The Mavic Pro works with DJI's GO mobile app to be able to access settings, editing and sharing your footage and exploring several other options.
Design: The DJI Mavic Pro measures are 3.27 x 7.8 x 3.27 inches, almost the same size of a water bottle, making it small enough to bring it with you everywhere you go. The efficient design of the Mavic Pro makes it small enough to put it in a purse or backpack rather than a hard pack specifically designed for it. The new folding design makes it possible for the two front arms to swing back while the rear limbs flip down.
The new OcuSync transmission system offers up to 4.3 miles of transmission range. When you fly, OcuSync scans available frequencies in order to use the one with the least interference so that it can give you more reliability. The Mavic Pro can fly at up to 40mph or for as long as 27 minutes under ideal conditions (or up to 21 minutes for normal flights).
The drone incorporates several smart features like ActiveTrack and TapFly which make the videos look very professional. Thus you won’t need a film crew. Just tell it who to track and it will handle it the rest.
The ActiveTrack feature, the Mavic Pro can detect several common subjects such as people, animals, bike riders and many more.
True 4k video, no compromises! The Mavic Pro camera shoots up to 4K video at 30 frames per second and Full HD 1080p at 96 frames per second. Its minimum focusing distance is 19" which makes it perfect for everything from selfies to landscape shots.
The Mavic Pro has an integrated high-precision 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer which produces smooth videos and crystal clear photos. The camera moves in the opposite direction to the Mavic, removing unwanted movement for the best possible video.
It’s very common for normal drones to hit obstacles during the flight but the Mavic Pro uses FlightAutonomy technology which offers the opportunity to see obstacles as far away as 49 ft which then allows the drone to avoid them and thus reduce accidents.
All these features, make the Mavic Pro drone a must have for every drone lover who wants to turn the sky into their own creative canvas and make every moment an aerial moment.
