God's desires for me

So living in the last days is interesting. It's so easy to get caught up into specific events that one sees on television. It's so easy to get caught up in specific events that distract us from God. But even as time moves very, very slowly, I have to remember that my focus really shouldn't be on my desires for my life. My focus really should be on my purpose. My focus shouldn't really be on my family's desires for my life. My focus really should be on what God desires for me.

Quick prayer:

Dear Lord, we come before You, acknowledging the weight of fear that binds us. We confess that it's not from You, for You are the Author of peace and love. We ask that You shatter the strongholds of anxiety and dread, replacing them with Your perfect peace. Illuminate our minds with the truth of Your Word, that we may know we are not alone and that You are our Rock, our Refuge, and our Savior. Break the chains of fear, and set us free to live abundant lives, unhindered by the lies of the enemy.
