LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS EASY

Good morning.
Life is not always easy.
In fact as a Christian , it often isn’t. I often have to walk away from situations. Case and point, I live in a tri-county area with varying levels of spirituality and kindness. I just moved to a building where people love stealing my assigned parking space up until now. I have been very patient with the offenders. I have been more patient than I would have been many years ago. I am not being patient because the drunken louts who love my space are good people. I am being patient because it’s what I am called to do and I am called to use wisdom. I may have to fight with crazy people for the rest of my lease. All I can tell you is that my parking space is NOT the Creator. These crazy drunk guys are NOT the Creator and I am not the Father. Sometimes my help comes in talking to a friend of mine early this morning about the situation. While I was talking to my friend, I moved my car from blocking in this “gentleman.” That was the right decision, though it did not feel like the right decision at the time. Sometimes it comes in a feeling. I often have to act better than I feel. I heard that somewhere.
PSALM 121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
