Stop Proving Yourself: Live in Your Purpose & Praise – Psalm 100 Reflection

A lot of times, we waste a lot of our time trying to prove to people that we're worthy. We try to prove to people that we deserve. We try to prove to people that we're deserving. The real thing that we need to do is improve ourselves and act less on our sinful natures (on what some might call the 7 deadlies or some might call character defects) and use our talents more. Do we need to prove ourselves to anyone? We don't need to prove ourselves to anyone. That's the first thing I want to say. We need to prove that we're actually living in our purpose and use our talents more and live in our actual purpose.

And then the second part of what I want to say is that it's always good to get back to worship, to rejoice in, and actually what is happening is God's in control, God has us, God loves us, God's with us.
