(EPSTEIN) No One Gets a Pass: Trusting God’s Justice When Evil Seems to Prosper

So a lot of people, I don't think, originally were interested in the Epstein case. Now everybody is interested in it, and now everybody believes.

I think, looking back on the last twenty years, I kind of realize that, really, for twenty years, twenty-one people looked the other way. What comes up is Psalm 5, and Psalm 5 kind of comes up because it seems like it's a long run that evildoers really get on this plane, but it's really not true. It just looks like that and it kind of looks like that from our perspective, but it's really not true. It's really actually a short one. It only seems like that because our lives seem longer than they are.

When I read this scripture today, I thought about (and I'm not saying this because I really want to talk about Epstein or any of that insane depraved stuff that was going on there and in many other places, because it ties to really all governments). The real main point is what is said in all of these lines of this scripture. Nobody gets a pass. They're not getting a pass. Nobody's getting a pass. They're not getting away with it. You don't even really have to worry about it. There's no real point even in really fretting about them. I mean, you can pray to not be filled with hatred towards evil doers. That's about it.

Does there need to be any focus? Should there be consequences to this behavior? Of course, there should be consequences at a societal level, but on the level of the Most High, they're not getting away with anything. I wouldn't even worry about it, and I'm talking about spiritually. They're not getting away with anything at all.

Psalm 5

For the director of music. For pipes. A psalm of David.

Listen to my words, Lord,
    consider my lament.
Hear my cry for help,
    my King and my God,
    for to you I pray.

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
    in the morning I lay my requests before you
    and wait expectantly.
For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;
    with you, evil people are not welcome.
The arrogant cannot stand
    in your presence.
You hate all who do wrong;
    you destroy those who tell lies.
The bloodthirsty and deceitful
    you, Lord, detest.
But I, by your great love,
    can come into your house;
in reverence I bow down
    toward your holy temple.

Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness
    because of my enemies—
    make your way straight before me.
Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
    their heart is filled with malice.
Their throat is an open grave;
    with their tongues they tell lies.
10 Declare them guilty, O God!
    Let their intrigues be their downfall.
Banish them for their many sins,
    for they have rebelled against you.
11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
    let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
    that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

12 Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
    you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
