When doubt and fear comes upon us, what should we do?

When doubt and fear comes upon us, what should we do?

I  think it's very easy to get far away from God. By that, I mean that sometimes you can look at your life and you can question or have doubt.

I was talking to a friend of mine recently, and I was checked about some of the things I said, and I was told, "While you have a lot of doubts, you gotta really pray on that and just really work on your faith." Sometimes I realize that I may have faith on the surface in some areas but then other areas in my life I may still be thinking that I'm controlling things or not exposing those thoughts to grace or not bringing those things about.

So I prayed, and the Most High suggested Psalm 13. What's very kind of important about this Psalm is that David is in a situation in which he feels all alone and I believe it's a context in which Saul is coming after him, and he feels like his friends and family don't have his back. But he's still calling out to the Most High because he realizes that that's his main recourse in times of trouble.
I wanted to start us off today with Psalm 13 because that's what the Most High wanted me to give you. Make sure you make it a blessed day, and God bless you and your families.

Psalm 13

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.
