A Sacred Prayer for Peace and Hope

Prince of Peace,
In the hush between heartbreaks, I reach for You.
When the news is loud and my soul is tired,
when grief stalks joy and questions outweigh answers—
You remain.

You, who calmed storms with a word,
breathe that same calm into my mind.
Steady these racing thoughts.
Anchor this trembling heart.
Let Your peace wrap around me like morning light
breaking through the longest night.

And when despair rises like a tide,
rise higher, Lord.
Fill the shattered places with Your promises.
Whisper hope where fear once echoed.
Give me eyes to see beyond what is,
and faith to believe in what will be.

You are the God of the not-yet.
The God of resurrection.
Of broken things made whole.
Of weary souls made strong.

So I will wait—not in panic, but in peace.
Not in dread, but in hope.
Because I know who holds tomorrow,
and I know He is good.
