AMID THE TUMULT
Share
Amid the tumult of the storm,
In sadness and strife, I plead for the firm.
My dear Lord, help me to wait,
For hearing Your voice, no matter the gait.
In the silence, in the cries, I hear You say,
"Be still, My child, confidence built on grace."
Oh God, within me, may patience grow,
Like a quiet river, filling my soul aglow.
I seek Your wisdom, to mend and to heal,
To stand firm, to withstand even the hardest steel.
