Deepest forgiveness

Merciful Father, God of boundless grace,

We come before You, humbled by Your infinite love and forgiveness. You, who sent Your only Son to die for us while we were still sinners, teach us the true meaning of forgiveness.

Lord, we ask for a supernatural outpouring of Your forgiving spirit upon us. Penetrate the deepest recesses of our hearts, washing away every trace of bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness. Like Christ who forgave those crucifying Him, fill us with that same divine capacity to forgive.

Jesus, You taught us to forgive not just seven times, but seventy times seven. Grant us the strength to forgive beyond human understanding, to release even those who have wounded us most deeply. Help us to see others through Your eyes of compassion and mercy.

Holy Spirit, search our hearts and reveal any hidden unforgiveness. Give us the courage to confront these areas, to choose forgiveness even when it's painfully difficult. Let Your healing balm soothe the scars of past hurts as we surrender them to You.

Father, we choose to forgive as we have been forgiven. Free us from the prison of unforgiveness, breaking every chain that binds us to past offenses. May our forgiveness be so complete that it astonishes the world and reflects Your boundless grace.

Lord, help us to extend this radical forgiveness to ourselves as well, accepting the full measure of Your pardoning love. Let our lives be a testament to the transformative power of true, deep forgiveness.

In the name of Jesus, who forgave us all, we pray. Amen.
