Embracing God's Gifts and Losses
Share
In the garden of my soul, I pen this prayer, O Gracious Giver,
For the joy in what You've bestowed, and peace in what You deliver.
With words as my canvas, I paint my heart's decree,
To find happiness in Your gifts, and in Your taking, tranquility.
Like a tree that thrives in sun and storm,
I seek to embrace what's lost and what's born.
In the giving, I find Your love's sweet trace,
In the taking, a lesson, a divine embrace.
Thank You, Lord, for Your wise, tender hand,
In receiving and releasing, I understand.
May I cherish every moment, every breath You provide,
In contentment with Your will, may my spirit abide.
