Finding Rest in the Presence of God
Share
Heavenly Father,
In the quiet stillness of this moment, we turn our hearts to You, seeking Your comfort and peace. We pray for relief from the stress that weighs heavily upon our minds and bodies, for You are our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
In the midst of our weariness, remind us of Your promise to sustain us, to carry us through every trial (Isaiah 40:31). Help us to find rest in Your presence, to release our burdens to You, and to trust in Your perfect plan.
In our moments of distress, grant us the courage to cry out to You, to lay our burdens at Your feet. Let us find solace in the knowledge that Your grace is sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Help us to remember that You have created us for Your glory, and that You desire for us to live with a sense of peace and joy (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Empower us with Your Holy Spirit, to be still and know that You are God (Psalm 46:10).
In the quiet depths of our souls, remind us of Your love, which is unchanging and everlasting. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Hope, we pray.
Amen.
