Of whom shall I be afraid

Sometimes you may wonder why things happen in your life. You may question. You may look at your life and think that things aren't right, things aren't fair. You might look at things that didn't happen and why didn't they happen. It's been kind of interesting that one of the most interesting things that happened for me in 2020 is that I realized that everything that had happened to me up until 2020 had to happen. And that and many other powerful really awakenings have happened over the last five years. But one of the biggest things that happened in 2020 and in part really as a result of many of the things that were happening in the world is that I really realized that everything that had happened up until 2020 had to happen.

A lot of times when we look at what we think we should've gotten or we look at the job that God protected us from. We look at the person that went to see the Most High earlier or whatever we're looking at specifically. If we realize that God is still in charge. If we realize that rejection is protection, if we realize that what it could've should've been some of the worst curses ever. I'm not saying that to be hyperbolic; those words were living in the past are worse than even using four-letter words that many Christians eschew.

And I say that specifically because anytime I'm in the past, like I'm in 2013 and I say "I should have said that to her, and then she would've done that." I'm playing God, and I'm not really present to my blessings right now.

So where are you like that and why are you like that? And if you're like that, how can you stop?

So if you're having a long day, just remember Psalm 27. And I'll quote the first lines and then I'll post everything else. “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? “
