Prayer for Condolences

O Lord of mercy, calm and deep,
Who watches o’er when mortals weep,
Come swift upon the wings of grace,
And bless the ones who’ve lost their place.

Let angels draw their veil of light
Around the soul lost to the night.
And may the ones who mourn remain
In strength, though bowed beneath their pain.

Give comfort in the silent hours,
When grief cuts sharp and dulls the flowers.
Let every tear, like sacred rain,
Be held by You and not in vain.

Breathe peace into the shattered heart,
Restore what grief has torn apart.
For though we walk through shadowed lands,
We do not pass from Your strong hands.

O God, who binds the broken soul,
Bring healing now and make them whole.
Until we meet in realms above,
Held in the arms of endless love.
