Prayer for Forgiveness of Those Who Hurt Us

Heavenly Father, we come to You burdened by the pains inflicted upon us by those who continue to hurt us. Lord, in the face of constant betrayal, we seek Your strength and grace.

Lord Jesus, You taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Help us to embrace this teaching with open hearts, even when the pain is fresh and raw.

Unwavering God, grant us the desire, the power, and the wisdom to forgive those who have transgressed against us. Let Your love drive us to release resentment and bitterness, even in the face of persistent hurt.

Grant us peace, that peace which surpasses all understanding, so that we can hold no ill will in our hearts and instead choose to bless those who abuse our kindness.

Father, let Your forgiveness for us in Christ Jesus guide us to extend the same to others: as You have forgiven us, so also must we forgive others.

In Your name, we forgive and release those who hurt us, looking to You for strength, solace, and the freedom of your righteous forgiveness. Amen.
