Prayer for Grace and Gratitude

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of grace poured out through Your Son. Your grace is the fountain of our gratitude; without it, we would have nothing but our own broken efforts. Help us to see that every breath, blessing and trial is a product of Your loving hand.

Teach us to give thanks always – not only when life is easy, but in every circumstance. When pride or entitlement tempts us to grumble, remind us that we are saved and sustained solely by Your mercy. Give us eyes to recognize evidences of Your grace in others, even when relationships are strained.

May our hearts overflow with praise, and may our lips readily express our thankfulness. Let our gratitude transform how we live and love, spreading the fragrance of Christ wherever we go. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
