Prayer for Healing from All Hurt
Share
Loving and Merciful Father,
In the quiet corners of our hearts, where pain lingers and memories haunt, we seek Your healing embrace. The wounds of hurt, whether self-inflicted or borne from the actions of others, weigh heavily upon our spirits.
Forgive us, O Lord, for the times we've caused pain, knowingly or unknowingly, through our words, actions, or inaction. Grant us the humility to seek forgiveness from those we've wronged and the strength to mend what has been broken.
Likewise, we seek the grace to forgive those who have hurt us. As You have taught, "Forgive, and you will be forgiven" (Luke 6:37). Let the balm of Your love soothe our aching hearts, releasing the chains of resentment and opening pathways to reconciliation.
Teach us, O God, to see beyond the hurt, recognizing the shared fragility of our human condition. Inspire in us a spirit of compassion, understanding that each of us carries burdens and battles hidden struggles.
In the shadow of the cross, where the ultimate act of love met the deepest pain, let us find our refuge. May the sacrifice of Jesus, who bore all hurt for our sake, guide us towards healing, forgiveness, and renewed hope.
In His name, the Healer of All Wounds, we pray.
Amen.
