Prayer for Taking Action When Motivation Is Low: Finding Strength in God’s Word

Heavenly Father,

I confess that there are times when I struggle to take action. My feelings of apathy or discouragement tempt me to put things off, even when I know the right thing to do. Your Word reminds me not to grow weary in doing good and promises a harvest if I do not give up. Help me to stay diligent when motivation is lacking. Teach me to work heartily at whatever task is before me, as if I am serving You and not people. When I feel unmotivated, stir in me a deeper love for You that moves me to act in faith. Strengthen my resolve to do what is right, trusting that Your Spirit supplies the energy and desire to persevere. Thank You for being my constant source of strength and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Ame
