Prayer for Trust During Pain and Loss
Share
God, We're drowning in questions. How do we square love with loss, faith with the wreckage we see everywhere—on screens, in hospitals, in our own mirrors? When the world splits open and hope bleeds out, anchor us to this truth: You are still good. Even when Your logic escapes us. Even when silence is all we hear.
Meet people in their breaking. Touch the ones whose pain has words and the ones whose hurt runs too deep for language. Let suffering become the strange doorway where we find You closer than breath, where our empathy stops being theory and becomes scars we share.
When we're too tired to stand, hold us. When doubt floods in, don't let us drown. Make us believe—against evidence, against despair—that You're weaving meaning through the chaos. That nothing is wasted in Your hands.
Through Christ, who knew what it meant to bleed and question, Amen
