In a world of chaos and despair, I bring to you, Father, my shattered heart and broken bones,
Asking for your comfort, seeking your love and grace, the healing balm you've known.

In the tempest's grip and under the seeming void, Your presence, Lord, is an unchanging beacon of light,
A refuge from the storm, a shelter from the flood, a spirit like a spring in parched land, a steady, courageous guide.

Mend me, O Lord, renew me in your wisdom and loving care,
In Jesus' name, I ask for grace in complete despair.
