The Willing Heart of God: A Prayer of Trust and Surrender
Share
O Lord of Mercy, how wondrous is Your willingness—
To forgive the undeserving, to heal the unclean, to stay with the forgotten. You do not withhold good from those who seek You. You do not hesitate when we cry, “If You are willing…”—for You always are.
Your love is not reluctant. Your grace does not delay. You lean in, even when we falter. You run, even when we crawl. You stretch out Your hand and say, “I am willing. Be whole. Be clean. Be free.”
So today I surrender not only my pain, but my doubt. I lay down every fear that whispers You might turn away. I trust Your heart more than my circumstances. Do what You desire in me, through me, and for me—because Your will is always good, always kind, always true.
Here I am. Heal me. Use me. Love me as only You can. I believe You are willing—and that is enough. Amen.
