A Prayer for Peace in Chaos
Share
Dear Heavenly Father, when everything seems to be falling apart, I come to You, my Rock, my Refuge. Please calm my stormy heart and mind with Your perfect peace. Remind me of Your sovereignty, love, and faithfulness. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me through the chaos.
Suggested scriptures:
1. Isaiah 43:2 (When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.)
2. Psalm 46:1-3 (God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.)
3. John 16:33 (I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.)
4. Romans 8:28 (And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.)
5. Psalm 138:8 (The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O God, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.)
