First Love: A Prayer for Divine Priority
Share
Heavenly Father,
In a world full of distractions and competing demands, I surrender my heart afresh to You. Forgive me for the times I've allowed other things to take Your rightful place in my life.
Help me seek Your kingdom first, trusting that everything else will fall into divine order. When my schedule gets overwhelming, remind me that sitting at Your feet, like Mary, is choosing the better portion.
Lord, be the first thought of my morning and the last whisper of my night. Let my decisions, dreams, and desires flow from a heart that's completely Yours. When success, relationships, or possessions vie for first place, help me maintain proper perspective.
Reorder my priorities according to Your will. Break any idols I've created, even good things that I've allowed to become ultimate things. Let my love for You outshine every other affection.
Thank You for being a God who is worthy of first place. May my life reflect that You are not just a priority, but the priority.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
