Prayer for Grace Among Chaos

Heavenly Father,
Like Joseph, who faced betrayal from his own brothers, grant me wisdom to navigate difficult family relationships. When toxic behaviors and dysfunction surround me, be my shield and sanctuary.
Lord, fill me with supernatural peace that surpasses understanding. When harsh words come, help me respond with grace, not reaction. Like David dealing with Saul's madness, give me discernment to maintain healthy boundaries while showing compassion.
Guard my heart against bitterness, knowing that hurt people hurt people. Grant me the strength to love from a distance when necessary, and wisdom to know when to engage and when to step back.
Like Jesus, who dealt with misunderstanding from His own family, help me maintain my peace without taking responsibility for others' chaos. Give me courage to break unhealthy cycles and establish new patterns of relating.
Protect my mental and emotional well-being. When dysfunction threatens to overwhelm me, be my refuge. Help me remember that I can love difficult people without accepting their toxic behavior.
Transform me into an agent of change without becoming entangled in others' drama.
