2020

2020 was a year of darkness. Since the beginning of this year, we have seen churches close and big box stores stay open. Small businesses have closed while big companies have thrived. We have the seen the rich people get richer and the poor get poorer.
Lies started becoming truths because people became desensitized to the truth after calling the lie a joke for too long. Lies became truth. Truth became a lie.
People no longer trusted one another as they used to. This has led to people not wanting to see loved ones who are not vaccinated and distrust and hate have spread like wildfire.
However, we must remember that these times are also filled with new opportunities. Over the last few years, we have seen people come together in ways that we never thought possible. We have seen miracles happen every day. And we have seen that people are essentially good at heart. We just need to remember this when we feel lost and alone during these dark times.
What was the time you lost faith in humanity? For me, it was 2020. I know that's a cliche answer, but it's true. I think we can all agree that 2020 was a challenging year. We started the year with so much hope and promise. We were going to make changes in our lives and the world. And then Covid-19 hit and everything changed.
It was a tough year for everyone. We've all had to deal with so much darkness and uncertainty. But amidst all of this, there have been new opportunities for us to grow closer to each other and to find forgiveness.
There have been countless miracles over the past few years, even in the midst of so much darkness. Every day, we see people coming together to help each other out. We see people being kind and selfless, even when it would be easier not to be. This shows that, despite everything that's happened, people are essentially good.
There have been times when I've lost faith in humanity. But every time I see people coming together and helping each other out, I'm reminded of how much good there is in the world. There's still so much to be hopeful for. 2020 may have been a tough year, but it's also shown us that we can overcome anything when we work together.
What about you? When was the time you lost faith in humanity? What helped you get through it? I'd love to hear your story in the comments below. Thanks for reading! :)"
