A Prayer for Car Trouble

Father God,

Right now, I’m dealing with car trouble, and I ask for Your help and guidance in this situation. You know how much I depend on this vehicle to get to work, care for my responsibilities, and provide for myself and others. Please give me wisdom to know what steps to take, patience to deal with delays, and provision for any repairs or expenses that may come.

Lord, I ask for Your protection over me and anyone else affected by this issue. If I’m on the road, keep me safe. If the car is undrivable, help me find the right support quickly—whether it's a mechanic, a tow truck, or a friend.

I pray for clarity in dealing with repair shops or decisions about fixing or replacing the vehicle. Lead me to honest people who won’t take advantage of the situation, and provide financially where I may be lacking.

Please calm my nerves, Lord. I don’t want to be ruled by stress or fear. Remind me that You are in control, even in frustrating and inconvenient moments like this. Let this not ruin my day, but instead draw me closer to You in trust.

Thank You for always being present—even in something as everyday as car trouble. I place this whole situation in Your hands.
