Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heavy heart. At work, the atmosphere is tense, people are losing their jobs, and the fear of “what if I’m next?” feels overwhelming. Lord, I admit I am anxious, uncertain, and deeply stressed.

But I know You are still in control. My job is not my provider—You are. My security is not in a paycheck but in Your unfailing hand. So I place my worries in Your care and ask You to replace fear with peace, and despair with trust.

Father, protect me from panic and rash decisions. Help me to do my work with diligence and grace, even in the face of uncertainty. Remind me that no matter what happens, my future is safe in You.

Bless those who have lost their jobs. Comfort them in their grief, provide for their needs, and open new doors of opportunity. Use me, where I can, to be an encourager and a support.

And Lord, if my turn ever comes, prepare my heart not with bitterness but with faith—that You are making a way even when I cannot see it. Give me resilience, creativity, and hope to navigate whatever lies ahead.

I choose today to stand in Your promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
